Presentation:

• Micogyl Tablet: Each tablet contains 400 mg Metronidazole BP.
• Micogyl Tablet: Each 5 ml contains Benzoyl Metronidazole 320 mg equivalent to 200 mg Metronidazole BP.
• Micogyl IV Infusion: Each 100 ml solution contains Metronidazole BP 500 mg.

Description

Metronidazole is the brand of Metronidazole in 400 mg film coated tablet,banana flavored suspension & IV Infusion 500 mg /100 ml. The special film coating is to mask the characteristics bitterness of Metronidazole which may sometimes cause nausea. Micogyl has antiprotozoal action and is effective against Trichomonas vaginalis, Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia intestnails and anaerobic bacteria.

Therapeutic Class: Antibacterial, Antiprotozoal, & Amebicide.
