Description:

Glucosamine is a naturally occurring compound for the body’s production of joint lubricants which is necessary to maintain healthy cartilage and joint function. It is an amino sugar, the building block for certain glycosaminoglycans. It also has some innate anti-inflammatory properties, independent of prostaglandin synthesis. Chondroitin Sulfate is a glycosaminoglycan and is a main constituent of proteoglycans. Like Glucosamine has been shown to stimulate proteoglycan synthesis by human chondrocytes. Chondroitin Sulfate also has some innate anti-inflammatory properties, independent of prostaglandin synthesis.
