 Presentation:

• Xanide 500 tablet: Each film-coated tablet contains Nitazoxanide INN 500 mg.
• Xanide 30 ml powder for suspension: Each 5 ml reconstituted suspension contains Nitazoxanide INN 100 mg.
• Xanide 60 ml powder for suspension: Each 5 ml reconstituted suspension contains Nitazoxanide INN 100 mg.

Description:

Nitazoxanide is a synthetic nitro thiazolyl salicylamide derivative and an anti-protozoal agent. Nitazoxanide exhibits broad-spectrum activity against anaerobic bacteria and parasites and the ulcer-causing pathogen Helicobacter pylori.
It is indicated for the treatment of infectious diarrhea caused by Cryptosporidium parvum and Giardia lamblia, amoebic dysentery and helminth infections.
